Stavanger Energi is a new wave band from Stavanger, Norway. The band's front-figure and vocalist is the author Tore Renberg known for the novels "Mannen som elsket Yngve" and "Kompani Orheim". The band started up in 2003, and have been playing several gigs, mainly in Stavanger.

Stavanger Energi contributed to the album "(not just) Another X-mas album" released by CCAP in 2004, with the cult-hit "Ka bler det te med den snøen?”. Their first album, "Det Amerikanske Valget" was released on the 20th of Feb, 2006 on CCAP.

They also contributed on the Lasse Myrvold tribute record "Dans til musikken" with "Må ha deg".

Renberg has stated that the band will most probably be disbanded in 2010, when they have released three recordsm because they want to quit when they are at their peak of their musical career.
