We are Failure in Vanity; a 5 piece metal band from Toms River NJ. We are heavily influenced by a wide variety of music including every genre/sub-genre from rock to death-metal. We are not the type of band that aims to mold ourselves to a specific genre. We all come from different backgrounds and we all have different preferences and influences on what we would like to contribute to our music as individuals. As a band we aim to create music that we can all enjoy, whether its the heaviest of the heavy or lightest of the light we thrive on pushing ourselves to make the best music we are capable of producing. Our debut LP, The Contender, released in June 2011 is an accumulation of music and ideas that have come from many, many different styles of music. From Rock and Jazz to Death Metal and all in between, This Album is something that we all consider to be the beginning of something amazing... the beginning of bigger and better things to come! While we hope you enjoy our debut release, we are all very excited to launch our new and future material (already in progress), this 5 piece unit is headed full speed into the NJ music scene!
