1) Phoenix Down is a 5 piece Rock band from UNION, NJ.

The only record they have released is called "...Somethin Fierce"

They release new songs at random it seems, a lot go onto compilations and haven't made it to digital distribution yet.

They have been battling girls jeans and scene music since 2003. Formerly known as Jersey Hype, the once hardcore band changed their format in 2005 to one that captured what the clique had been experiencing in their lives up until the moment. They are currently sponsored by MaxCruise Entertainment, and are managed by A&R Select.

2) Phoenix Down (aka PXD) is a 4 piece rock band from New Zealand:

Phoenix Down have just recorded a 6 track EP "In A Hail Of Gunfire" with producer Zorran Mendonsa (Sinfura, In Dread Response, TomorrowComesInSilence, Second Theory).

Influenced from many genres within punk, rock and metal, and not limiting themselves to a set formula, Phoenix Down have energetic, bass-driven songs and melodies, with unique vocals and song-writing originality.

After forming in early 2005 as The Misery, Phoenix Down consist of original three members Vocalist Sean Goodison, Bassist Victor Pesch, Guitarist Bevan Jones and newly joined drummer Andrew Taylor.

With the release EP, they set out to play live as much as possible.
