There are 2 Geoff Manns listed here: the british singer and the NYC based drummer and composer.

Geoff Mann (1956 - 1993)
Geoff Mann was the singer with the eighties' progressive rock band Twelfth Night. After leaving Twelfth Night he made three self-financed solo albums, then went on to form The Bond and later A Geoff Mann Band. He also produced albums with Marc Catley and Clive Nolan, and collaborated with IQ singer Peter Nicholls. As well as staunch Socialism, his religious views were also an important part of his lyrical palette; eventually he became a priest in parallel with his musical career.

Sadly Geoff died of cancer on February 5th 1993.

Most of his recorded work, including cassette albums such as the monochrome Chants Would Be A fine Thing (all his album titles are excruciating puns), is now available on CD.
