Mongol ongod (Cyrillic: Монгол онгод) is a six-piece ensemble from Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Self-described as a "post ethnic band from new era of Mongolian folk music", their music incorporates traditional throat singing and long song. On the instrumental side, the band members play traditional Mongolian and modern Western instruments.
