1. Romanian speed/heavy metal band from Bucharest, active 1986-1992. Their vocalist Mihai Gîtlan was the first victim of Romanian Revolution in December 1989.

2. A Dubstep/Techno/Bass producer from Byron Bay, Australia. Formed in early 2008 Interval is the production moniker of Jonny Coates. His production style is best characterized by a deep and dark technoid sound incorportating elements from early dubstep, garage, 2-step, and experimental hip-hop and techno.

His debut release written alongside 3rdeye (also from Byron Bay), the Techno Shamans EP, was released on Gradient Audio (USA) in May 2011.

Interval has also released music on Gamma Audio (UK) & Tres Catorce Netlabel.

He also produced and hosted, The Freq Consortium, a weekly radio program which ran for 3 years (2008 - 2011) on Byron Bay's local community radio station 'BayFm 99.9' playing bass heavy electronic music.
