Kason Stiff is an indie Texan artist who performs various genres, though a majority of his music falls under Hypnagogic Pop, as well as the general umbrellas of Indie Rock and Alternative Rock. He has released two albums and one EP, and with the three singles released this year that abandon his Hypnagogic Pop sound it's likely leading up to another project.

His first EP, Loss Corruption, was released August 2022. The majority of it's tracks have a chill, dreamy, Hypnagogic Pop sound, and interestingly enough a few tracks actually have some instrumentation reminiscent of the 16 bit era of video games. While his most amateur sounding project (expected of a first release), it sets the ground for what's to come quite well.

August 2023, his first album Noxious Rock released. It continues the Hypnagogic Pop sound, but the atmosphere is largely different. It's much more energetic and eclectic, as well as having a bit of a punk edge to it. It's also probably his most experimental project to date.

The Electrician released January 2025 as his second album. This takes most of what Noxious Rock does and amplifies it, as well as refining it. More energetic, eclectic, and punk. Aspects aren't just amplified however, they've introduced, as this takes quite a drastic shift in sound. Synth Punk and Dance Punk now rule this album's sound along side Hypnagogic Pop. This album also sometimes comes back to Loss Corruption's dreamy atmosphere, such as with tracks like I Wish I Never Met You and No Identity. Read more on Last.fm.
