Seattle-based Jim Lyon has been writing songs and performing for more than 30 years. He grew up in the mountains of Colorado and attended the University of Colorado. Over time his music has crossed many genres from folk and rock to jazz and world music traditions. He has played solo and with his bands including Jim Lyon and Fifth Business and The Urban Bushmen. He has performed in clubs, colleges, political rallies, protests and major festivals from Seattle to Portland, Maine.
