Sarah Something is an Irish singer-songwriter, from Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland, who delivers heartfelt songs with powerfully passionate vocals and a captivating style.

Sarah has spent the last few years trying to develop her skills in both songwriting and playing
music, and every one of her songs has a story to tell. Much of the inspiration for her music is taken from her own life and the lives of others around her, both near and far. Life can be hard at times and for most people music is an escape, and that’s the main reason Sarah started writing songs in the first place. She claims that music is her escape and she just wants to give people hope and a reason to smile. This can be heard in all her songs which are uplifting and full of emotion.

With a range of instruments under her belt including piano, guitar, cajun, bass guitar and of course her voice she will just not stop. Sarah is currently studying for an Honours Degree in Applied Music at Dundalk Institute of Technology and is in her second year. Sarah is also involved in many other projects, writing songs for Irish short films and also has a great portfolio of orchestral works composed.

Sarah's debut single 'Never Meant' is due for release on May 2nd, 2014 and a short tour has
been booked for the weeks around that date. Although for the single, (and the album: due for re- lease later this year) Sarah plays a range of instruments including guitar, piano, percussion, strings, keyboard and more. While performing her style is quite different incorporating memorable guitar riffs and rhythms with a loop pedal and building up with percussive sounds produced from the guitar as well as harmonic vocals backing her truly powerful vocals. This girl is one to watch out for!

The single will be followed up by Sarah's debut album ‘Grey’ later in the year (date TBC) with a National Tour during the summer. Keep an eye on the website for all the details!
