Not since the nostalgic days of Nat King Cole, has there been an exciting African-American male vocalist that has embarked upon a cross-cultural goal with so much charisma. Timoteo “El Charro Negro” originally of Dallas, Texas, now based in Long Beach, California, sings in Spanish with great passion and conviction. The general public has enthusiastically embraced his innovative combination of music. The sound is an eclectic fusion of traditional Mexican ranchero music mixed with subtle embellishments of his African-American heritage and musical interpretation as is evidenced in his most recent CD recording, "Me Regalo Contigo."
