The Audio are a five piece alternative/rock band from Saint Louis, MO. After a somewhat successful nationwide stint under the name So They Say, it was publicly announced on April 23, 2008 that members Joe Hamilton and David Schroeder would continue creating music under the name 'The Audio' after the departure of two longtime members of So They Say. Hamilton explains in the band's MySpace blog, "We decided to start over. Not in spite or anger of the breakup of So They Say, but in the need to play music."

The line-up currently consists of five members:
Joe Hamilton - guitar, background vox, keyboard
David Schroeder - vocals
Matt Elliott - lead guitar
Patrick Blair - bass, background vox
Jim Koplin - drums, sampling.
