Stavanger based Teeny Grownups hit the scene with their second album “Epic Rock” (Kari Recordings), three years after their debut "We Are The Teeny Grownups" wooed fans of indie pop. Since their last album, noise guitarist Tord Figenschou has gained a more prominent position in the soundscape, putting more weight behind the music. The record was recorded in Eirik Lye’s Out Of Tune(s) Studio, which has contributed to tighten up the band’s sound compared to We Are The Teeny Grownups, which were recorded in a living room. The atmosphere is still a loose one, with a hint of “happy-go-lucky”. The old twee feeling is still there, though hidden under several layers of noisy guitars. Head teen Per Ebbe Helberg writes naïve pop songs about the quirkier sides of life.
