The Violet Sunsets are an alternative rock band with roots based out of Indiana. Their latest release “Lost Letters to the Past” is jam packed with riveting guitar solos, haunting lyrics, and overall composition that comes at you like a wall of sound. Songs like “Template” and “Good Looking” buckle you in for minute and a half guitar solos that seem to almost have words themselves, while “Wishing Well” and “Timezone” tell tales of pain and attempting to come to grips with tragedy and loss.
