Mongolian Chop Squad, or Beck, is the fictional band who has the main role in the anime Beck. Yukio ("Koyuki") Tanaka, one of the last to enter the band, but the main character of Beck, he plays the guitar and sings.Ryusuke ("Ray") Minami, the founder of the band, plays the lead guitar, he was the one who pushed Koyuki into playing, and ultimatly, into joining the band.Tsunemi Chiba, the lead singer, has an hiphop harsh and speedy voice that gives Beck a diferent pitch of other bands.Yoshiyuki Taira, a very skilled basist, wasnt initially in the band, but came to be one of the permanent members. the last is the drummer Yuji Sakurai, replaces the first one after the latest gave up on the band. Yuji is a good friend of Koyuki, in they're highschool and didnt tough of becoming a band member until he shined in a bass/drummer sort of test. Read more on Last.fm.
