Dr. Toast is a stealthy producer of deep, abstract, hypnotic beats. His influences run the gamut from ambient to breaks to hip hop to IDM to psychill - which are layered together into lush washes of otherworldly sound, and always with a deep, thumping, head-nodding foundation. As a longtime member of the False Profit crew, he has been performing original material live on his laptop at underground parties in San Francisco since 2003, and has been known to make appearances on soundsystems from New York City to Black Rock City.
