Shiver is a band that formed in late 2013 when a group of friends from Salem, MA with a mutual love for Coldplay decided to branch out from their pop punk projects and venture into the world of Indie/emo rock. Shiver’s first release was a self titled EP that was released in June 2014. Shiver’s main influence for these songs were Daughter and Coldplay. After that release the band started working on their first LP “Evergreen” that would later be released through Counter Intuitive and Honest Face records. The album was released in December of 2016 and the main influences for this release were Now Now and Moving Mountains. The next release was another EP titled Golden Hour where they decided to lean more into a folk rock mindset. This EP was released in August of 2018. The next release is where Shiver. believes they truly found their sound. An album called See The Light that was released in July of 2020 where the band tried to mix all influences along with personal growth and ideas. Some of these songs are still played by the band live. Shiver then put out another EP called Something To Rely On that was released in August of 2023. The band decided to lean more into indie influences for this release such as Dustin Tebbutt and S. Carey. All of these releases have lead up to Shiver’s most proud release yet, an album called Topsfield Fair. The band leaned into their love for 90s alt rock with influences from The Goo Goo Dolls and Oasis. This album was released in May of 2025. Read more on Last.fm.
