A young composer, Zachary Phillips (Gas Cap), started his career doing short films and promotional trailers. His compositions are influenced by a strong electronic presence due to his production in electronic music. Major influences include composers like M83, Hans Zimmer, and Daft Punk’s work in “Tron: Legacy”. Phillips is now making a career in composition, and producing and writing scores for independent film producers, as well as putting his music out online.

His first album, Accolade, was released on October 1st, 2016. "Accolade" includes the electronica sound that Gas Cap was previously known for, but at the same time knows how the keep the content new-sounding and original.

On June 18th, 2017 the Destiny EP, the fourth EP of Gas Cap's whole discography (first if you're not counting the three pre-2016 EPs) was released and a video was even produced for the self titled song.
