There are multiple artists with this name:

1) Matula is a german Punkrock/Emo band located in Hamburg. They're playing straight punk beats mixed with pretty nice and well played guitars; mostly clean. Matulas german lyrics pick up the traditions of german bands like muff potter & turbostaat. They're clever, emotional, political. Once I heard the word "intellipunk" and it fits very well I think.
