Mike Milazzo is an accomplished songwriter, singer and guitarist who blends rock, folk, country, and blues into a distinctive yet familiar sound. The World Outside, Mike’s first CD, has received regular airplay on local and satellite radio. A reviewer wrote that “Milazzo’s candid style of songwriting and playing is an inspired combination. His raw guitar and vocal sound support introspective lyrics, and drawing from his eclectic influences, Milazzo has accumulated a catalog of songs that are rootsy, gritty and full of emotion.”

Mike Milazzo’s second CD, Love is a Cage, was mixed and mastered at Barefoot Flamingo Recording and released through Mighty Quinn Productions. A music video of the song “The Show”was shot by the Danish film maker Mads Jeppesen at Under St. Marks Theater in New York. Mike was interviewed about the upcoming CD by The Happiest Medium and was a featured artist on the podcasts Radio Dispatch and Sketch Block. Fans and friends donated to Milazzo’s IndieGoGo campaign to contribute to the making of his second CD, and fan-made videos of Milazzo’s live performances are often posted on Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo.

Mike Milazzo has shared his guitar, mandolin and vocal skills with both emerging artists and veteran performers such as Cutleri, the banjo master Tom Hanway, Coach, Bamboo Silva, Anacoustic Mind, Local Talent, and Meg Griffin’s Trainwreck, featuring the pedal steel legend Buddy Cage. Mike’s previous bands include The Boardlords, Kill The Band, Dweller, The Juicemen, The U.S. Hairforce, Rhesus Jesus and The Pop Shop. Mike Milazzo has been an opening act for Graham Parker, Levon Helm, Richie Havens, Donovan and Vassar Clements.

Mike’s solo career is augmented with extensive collaborative work, reflecting the diversity of his relationship with art and music. He performs weekly at Under St. Marks Theater in New York City, where he accompanies open mic artists, poets, comedians, singers, actors and musicians. Mike also plays frequently throughout the tri state area with his band, Broken Arrow.
