The Attics are a band from Nottingham, UK, who take influence from bands such as The Libertines, Babyshambles, Oasis and The Strokes. The band's lineup is currently comprised of 4 people; Michael Ortega on Vocals and Rythm Guitar, Sam Simms on Lead Guitar, Phil Wintle on Bass and Sam Purser on Backing Vocals and Drums.

The band were formed in 2009, it's members having met at Christ the King Catholic School in Nottingham, and playing in school concerts, gaining popularity with the students, mainly in the Sixth Form.
