Rudy Ventura is a Spanish trumpeter and singer, known for his work in the Catalan language. Part of a group of musicians who began to record in Catalan in the late 1950s, something not without its risks in Francoist Spain, he was signed for many years to the Belter label in Barcelona, recording over seventy records for them. More recently Ventura and his trumpet have been heard regularly leading the crowd at FC Barcelona's Nou Camp ground. Read more on Last.fm.
