Caladan Brood is an epic black metal band formed in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States in 2008. The lineup consists of Shield Anvil (keyboards, guitars, vocals, bass, programming) and Mortal Sword (guitars, vocals, additional keyboards). Highly influenced by Summoning.

The name of the band comes from the character Caladan Brood from the fantasy book series
