"The Meantime" are a two member song writing team that write material that ranges in style from Rock through Progressive Rock. Some of their influences are The Beatles, Rush, Yes, Queen, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, and Pink Floyd.

"The Meantime" was essentially created by the growing insurgence of the project studio and the growing popularity of the "Indie" band movement. Tom and Chuck, who do most of the writing, singing, playing and arranging, were joined by other contributing musicians to create what has become the albums "Long Shot," "Faster than the speed of Life," Perfect," and the more recently released "Self Titled" Project.
