Parasyche is a Chilean thrash/groove/death metal band. Active since 2010, they gained a certain popularity on the internet from 2017 onwards because Nico Borie, lead singer and rythm guitarist, had gained popularity on YouTube with his music-related skits. However, in November 2023 the band announced they would be parting ways with Borie in 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. Likewise, the band has undergone many lineup changes, lead guitarist Matías Becerra remaining the sole constant member.
