Tori Bigelow was born in Fairfax, VA on June 6, 1994. When she was 5, she moved to Marietta, GA with her mother, step-father and younger brother. When Tori was 13 she began song-writing and wrote her first song "Regrets and Lies" about world peace and her view on the war. From that moment on, she was unknowingly embarking on the greatest of adventures. She released her EP "I Believe" when she 14 years old. The record is named after her song "Help Me Believe In Me" which Tori co-wrote with hit-songwriter Jim Femino. After writing for a few years, and making the weekend trip to Nashville, TN, she decided to permanently make the move right after her 15th birthday. Tori is now almost 18 years of age and is more engulfed in her music than ever before. She's home-schooled online so she can focus all of her attention on what she loves to do, and her hard work is most definitely paying off. Recently, Tori had the wonderful experience of writing with one her biggest inspirations - Jason Reeves. Tori Bigelow stumbled upon Colbie Caillat on MySpace a few years ago, and when her first record came out she scoured the internet to find out who Colbie's co-writers were. She was pleased to find that Jason Reeves, who co-wrote songs like "Realize" and "Bubbly", had quite a few songs of his own available for purchase. From then on, she was most definitely a fan of his. Getting the opportunity to write with him all these years later was certainly a magical experience, and she thanks the Universe everyday for the life she gets to live. She continues to write and perform around Nashville, and she's hoping to get her music out to people all over the nation. Take a listen, and stick around if you'd like. Tori has plenty of new material on the way, and she can't wait to see what interesting things are going to take place next. Read more on Last.fm.
