Cameron Bethany, the son of a Southern preacher, is an American R&B musician, vocalist and songwriter. The youngest male scion in a pastor’s family, Cameron carried creative expectations he could only hope to meet. Once he could finally accept the lack of acceptance, he began his own journey in music, faith and romance. Cameron’s hard-fought identity—more reluctant than rebellious—is evident in his unique voice, which rises from sweet harmonies to passionate exultations as heard on his debut album, the cosmically sensual YOUMAKEMENERVOUS. Sometimes, Cameron tells a story with his lyrics; other times, his murmurings are wordless, emotional syllables.
