Mr Slime is an independent-alternative lo-fi psychedelic-electronic grunge-slop-pop collective led by founder, bassist, vocalist, producer and only consistent member, William Karl King.

In late 2023, Will, filling the role of bassist/vocalist, approached college classmates and session musicians Charlie Sparnon [guitar] and Cody Ellis [drums] and began writing and rehearsing material in collaboration with the two.
Recording was completed in one session in the college studio on March 29th 2023.
After recording, the band went on hiatus while Will mixed the tracks and prepared to release.
Debut was released on September 18th 2023. On the final release, Will chose to include a home demo of The Walls Are Itching, which was recorded entirely solo.

Upon joining university in 2024, they wrote Tchuingum together as part of a recording project, as well as doing a small number of rehearsals and performances alongside peers.
6 months into the uni arc, Will quit studying and left his bandmates, focusing on his ongoing recording relationship with art-pop guitarist/vocalist Jude Kash Harrison.
Together, the duo recorded Bananasong, a song they wrote during rehearsals for Debut, as well as rehashing and polishing Like This, a song recorded in early 2022.
Will finished off the album with 4 solo originals, Slime (Goo and Grime), Fuck, Slime Guy [originally recorded sometime in 2023] and Acid Tripping Hippy, all written and recorded in his bedroom studio.
Goo and Grime was released on March 14th 2024.

Following the well received release of Goo and Grime, Will began to form the concept of Elevator Junk based around the elevator he often used at work.
Over 4 months, he cherry picked 9 songs out of his prolific solo output, as well as an opening and closing track recorded inside the VERY elevator from the album cover.
Elevator Junk For The Janitor was released on July 5th 2024.

After Elevator Junk, Will's focus shifted to a concept that originated during rehearsals for Debut.
The titular track The Tub was recorded in his bathroom with a banjo sometime in February 2023, forming the premonition of an album that stayed dormant for almost 2 years.
Will remade Everyone's An Asshole, a track written circa 2019, polished No Cheese Please which was recorded solo by Will during downtime at uni, as well as Hate It, a Jude/Will demo written circa 2022, and picked out 6 new songs from the current time period.
