Wring is a band born of lots of dark nights in the studio, just outside of Boston, Mass.
A little over a year ago, Nick Parker and Art Baron met and began to talk about producing music. Crafting it over time. Not trying to catch the energy of live performance. Playing it like chess. With forethought, though both had done the live thing in the past.

They were from different worlds in many ways: Art musically trained where Nick was not; Nick a studio engineer already, where Art was not; lots of similar tastes in music, but also lots of new interests to bring to one another. Skills both could see would come together and produce something neither could have done alone.

In the year since they met they have made “The Spire.” It’s an EP of songs with the diversity of any new project – that sense of potential which allows every song to be a little different from the last. They have both learned to find their footing when there are so few rules and so many possibilities.
