Lightsabres is a one-man band from Luleå, Sweden, playing dark psychedelic stoner punk with touches of post-rock and doom. Drawing inspiration from early US punk and grunge, fuzzed-out doom/stoner rock and various ambient/instrumental bands, the music is recorded at home for the ultimate amount of filth.

The debut album Demons was released in December '13 on 12" vinyl and cassette by Hink Inc. Records (Sweden) and 808 New York Tapes (US) respectively. All songs are written*, performed and recorded by John Strömshed. A follow-up titled Spitting Blood was released early 2014. Late 2014, Lightsabres signed to STB records to release a third album.
