Breathe Lyrics

It's a sunny happy day
And the sky is crystal clear, oh yeah
Surprise, surprise I'm okay
The best I've been in years, oh yeah

Summer's hanging in the trees
Bluebirds butterflies and bees
The world's alright
And that's alright with me

'Cause I hardly think about it anymore
Oh, it's just a distant memory
And I hardly think about it anymore
What happened to the dream?
And it only hurts when I breathe

Got more money in the bank
Than I ever had before, oh yeah
Things keep going my way
Pretty soon I'll have a whole lot more, oh yeah

But I'm sleeping in a lonely bed
When I remember to forget
The world's alright
And that's alright with me

'Cause I hardly think about it anymore
Oh, it's just a distant memory
And I hardly think about it anymore
What happened to the dream?
And it only hurts, yes, it only hurts
Now it only hurts when I breathe

Sun up, sun down
Breathe in, breathe out
Breathe in, breathe out
Breathe in, breathe out

And I hardly think about it anymore
Oh, it's just a distant memory
And I hardly think about it anymore
What happened to the dream?
And it only hurts yes it only hurts
Now it only hurts when I breathe

Oh, it only hurts yes it only hurts
Now it only hurts when I breathe
When I breathe when I breathe
When I breathe when I breathe
When I breathe

Rose is a 23-year-old singer/songwriter, born in NYC and raised in Nashville, TN. You might say she's a "little bit country a little bit rock and roll" but then you might be accused of using a cheesy cliché.

Her father, Billy Falcon, also a songwriter, heavily influences my writing. I guess she didn't really have a choice. I mean, she'd be in bed trying to sleep and all she would hear is him wailing his latest tune.

Looking back, Rose is now thankful for that annoyance. Her self-titled debut was released on Columbia/Sony New York in 2003. It was very "pop", she was very young! She had a great time and enjoyed seeing herself jump up and down and singing into a hair brush on the Disney Channel. Every girls dream….haha.

Anyway.. she's grown up a bit and here she is with some new music. Check it out. Let me know what ya think. Her second release is coming soon. Enjoy.

If Tom Petty was female, he'd sound something like Rose Falcon. Her amazing new songs are more mature, and edgier, reflecting her maturity and growth as a singer and songwriter. Read more on Last.fm.
