Thomas J. Grant, also known as "T Dizzle 80", is a producer and musician born and raised in New Orleans, La. Being from a city rich in musical roots, it is no surprise that this New Orleans native's musical beginnings came early in life. "T Dizzle 80" began trombone lessons at the tender age of five. His musical interests and commitment continued on through high school. He then went on to study Jazz at Southern University of New Orleans (SUNO), under the tutorage of the likes of Kidd Jordan and Donald Harrison. Curious, passionate, & hungry to indulge in all musical aspects, he also took a liking to electronic music.
Besides pursuing a degree in music, "T Dizzle 80" has also performed, tutored, and composed music for contemporary, classical and jazz bands. He has played at world class events such as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Essence Music Festival, to name a few.
With his music background, skills, & determination, he formed his own record label, "Backyard Muzikk". With successful concerts, many talented artists, collaborations, commercials, and a discography of tracks, this talent has proven he has what it takes to transition into super producer. The label is called "Backyard Muzikk" but it's headed far beyond just the backyard.
