The Transatlantic Collective is a contemporary jazz ensemble dedicated to collaboration between emerging American and European artists, and the performance of new original work across the US, UK and Europe.
Formed several years ago by college friends, it now a full time working band of international musicians.
The album "Travelling Song" (2008) is the culmination of this work.
Among the members of the collective are Patrick Cornelius(USA) alto sax, Michael Janisch (US/UK) bass, Paul Wiltgen (Luxembourg) drums, Quentin Collins (UK) trumpet, Krisjan Randalu (Estonia) piano amongst others.
