Forever Goldrush formed in 1997 in Sacramento, California: Singer-songwriter/guitarist Damon Wyckoff, Guitarist Josh Lacey, Bassist Mason DeMusey,Guitarist Steve Easton, and Drummer Tony Cale, all grew up in Northen California, and filtered through their common upbringing that they have distilled their own brand of music. Amador County, 45 miles Southeast of Sacramento, Amador County is the heart of the Motherlode and it is here where Damon Wyckoff singer songwriter for Forever Goldrush draws inspreation from. Their self-released debut album "Unknown Territory" and the Headhunter Records/Cargo Music release of "Halo In My Backpack" both helped propel Forever Goldrush into a nonstop tour for 3 years. They, as Damon Wyckoff put it "they burned themselves to the ground" and so the band went on hiatus.

Damon Wyckoff moved back to Amador County, got married and started a family. Josh Lacey moved to North Carolina got married and started Vintage Roots Handcrafted Guitars, www.vintageroots.com,. Mason DeMusey, still lives in Sacramento and kept his chops tight by playing with the Regulars (Sacramento),. Like the other members of Forever Goldrush, Tony, Herm and Erik all have kept playing music.

Fast forward ten years, to March 2011 and after a their hiatus Forever Goldrush, is back with a much anticipated third album, "The Amador Frequency," that was recorded in 2002, and will be released August 2nd 2011 on Test Pattern Records.
