Sunbathers is an indie rock band that formed in the H Street neighborhood of Washington, D.C. during the Fall of 2013.

The band consists of 5 members:
Sean Lynott (Vocals/Synth), Peter Mindnich (Guitar/Vocals), Tim Boate (Guitar), Sean Oliver (Bass), & Shohsei Oda (Drums).

The band was started by Sean Lynott and Tim Boate, who met while attending the University of Maryland and began performing as an acoustic duo.

Sunbathers' sound crosses several genres including rock, indie rock, R&B, dance, & funk. Some of the major influences on their music include Radiohead, The Strokes, My Morning Jacket, Arctic Monkeys, Talking Heads, and Phoenix. They have spent the past year and a half writing music, recording demos, and playing gigs primarily in the D.C./Baltimore area.
