Born under the sign of Virgo, this North Carolina native is determined to pursue his passion of providing positive and entertaining music to excite the senses. 'KAYO Bracey' grew up in an environment where the values of hard work, determination and sacrifice as the cornerstone of success, were taught by example, embodied in the very essence of his mother, to whom he credits all his successes. Kayo often struggled to find enough food to eat, due to their financial situation. These struggles made him the man that he is today. Encouraged to excel at all things, KAYO poured his passion and energy into the two things he loved the most, Sports and Music. From his early days at Northeast Guilford High School, KAYO could either be found making tackles on the football field or creating musical hits as a member of the group “Official Combination” gaining notoriety throughout the Greensboro area of North Carolina. Kayo attended Northeast Guilford High School in North Carolina where he was an all-area and all-county defensive back on the football team. Sports took him on a journey to Baltimore where he earned an athletic scholarship to Morgan State University. Kayo started at cornerback for the bears for fours seasons earning all-meac candidate honors. His passion for music could not remain hidden and he soon caught the attention of executives at several record labels including Interscope and Atlantic to name a few. Kayo has been featured in Artist magazine three times and will be making an upcoming appearance in the new film produced by Danny Glover called "Freedom to Ride". Kayo is always working hard to perfect his craft and has never been camera shy.
