Niña Polaca is a Spanish alternative rock and indie pop band formed in Madrid in 2018. The group was founded by Álvaro Surma and Alberto Rojo, who met as neighbors in the Malasaña neighborhood. The band's name, which translates to "Polish Girl," was chosen after a road trip to Poland. Their music is characterized by a mix of catchy pop, garage rock, and pure rock energy, with sharp and ironic lyrics.

The band quickly gained a following with their energetic live shows in Madrid's small venues and at festivals. They signed with the influential Spanish indie label Subterfuge Records. Their debut album, De la línea diez al Sol (2020), included the song "Madrid sin ti," which became an unofficial anthem of resistance for the city during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Niña Polaca continued their prolific output with Asumiré la muerte de Mufasa (2021) and Que adoren tus huesos (2023), both of which were well-received by critics and the public. In 2025, they released new versions of several songs from their album, collaborating with prominent artists such as Sexy Zebras, Dani Fernández, Carlangas, and Amaral.

Known for their vibrant stage presence and a sound that draws from Spanish pop of the 1980s and the aesthetic of La Movida Madrileña, Niña Polaca has become a fixture in the Spanish music scene.
