A personal favourite, having met the dark-haired gypsy like woman with an open heart, enormous talent and shrewd business sense. She's a combination of attributes that would make anyone of her same sex jealous except for the fact that she's easy to adore and has no qualms about being a very womanly woman.

Ariane is also a multi-talented songwriter, instrumentalist who's been classically trained across the globe. I met Ariane during her long-term relationship with equally talented hammered dulcimer player, Jem Moore, when we all played at the fairs together. In the last 12 years, Ariane has shared the stage with better known performers such as Loreena McKennitt, Tom Paxton, John McCutcheon and John Renbourn. Her sultry alto voice is both a soothing and passion stirring one to listen to.
