Exit World is an artist in the vein of Five For Fighting or Rocket Summer, in terms of being a "one-man band." Musically it draws its influences from 60's and early 70's music such as The Beatles, Moody Blues, Tom Rush, Classics IV, Spencer Davis Group, Gordon Lightfoot, America, etc. along with the more modern influences of U2, Coldplay, Sigur Ros, R.E.M., Snow Patrol, Travis, Hillsong United, Future of Forestry, etc. The message of the music is based on personal, spiritual and worldly matters.
