January 1st 2011 shall be the release date for PRAISESKISSESLOVETEARS AND SMILES, the first in a planned series of 7 EP’s. A unique and ambitious project by Dutch producer D-Felic, who outperforms himself and demonstrates to be ranked among the best producers in Holland.

The 2009 debut album OOST WEST THUIS BEST (Dutch for: ‘There’s no place like home’) by D-Felic (aka Sjoerd Neggers) was very well received, in particular within the ‘broken beat/nu-soul’ scene. The new EP’s with a total of 27 tracks emphasize his qualities as a producer once more. D-Felic easily makes connections from analog to digital, from soul to chill out and from dance to free jazz and electro.

The successful collaborations which were characteristic for OOST WEST THUIS BEST are included in this project just the same. Not only have TONDRAE KEMP and ROBERT CARVALHO contributed again, but new names such as poet JIMMY ‘WORDSWORTH’ RAGE and the American singer-songwriter JENNI ALPERT are in on it as well. A special note should be made about the collaboration with THE FAMILY STAND.

All EP’s will be digitally distributed by ‘339 RECORDS / PAINTED DOG’ and will be available for downloads through all major digital distribution channels, such as BEATPORT, JUNO en I-TUNES
