Fonzarelli is a group of Seattle-area music scene veterans. The focus of the band is writing quality new-wave punk, with an emphasis on lyrics and spare, rhythmic arrangements. Frontman Tannar Brewer lent his bassing to such acts as The Lawnmowers, Hoof, and Flux Capacitors before forming Fonzarelli with drummer Troy Lund, who has performed with local stalwarts Trepan, Second Academy, and Haircuts That Hurt. Erik Hendrikson, a vet of Agent 86 and The Haranguetones, was brought on board to fill out the lead guitar chair, and "The Butcher " Lomba, Tannar's partner in crime in Flux Capacitors and a vet of long-time punk destructionists Old Man Smithers and Fumundah, joined to complete the roster and the sound.
