The band's album, Stuffin Coffins Since 1977, combines Stitch Hopless's gravely anthems with careening melodies to churn out a fine collection of heart-pounding-Psychobilly and punk sound. They have shared the stage with some world renowned psychobilly and punk bands, and have a rapidly growing fan base. With standout tracks like "Can't wait to get back home," "Trash Like Me" and "Grey Laces" the music of Stitch Hopless and the Sea Legs appeals to punk/psychobilly fans and non-punk/psychobilly fans alike. Punknews.org (punknews.org) says "This is one of the best psychobilly albums out there. Blending the personal struggles of the human race with the zombie, vampire and Frankenstein fare of psychobilly storytelling, Gone Bats can stand alongside the best of Tiger Army, the Meteors and the Quakes as a pinnacle of the genre so far." Stich Hopeless & The Sea Legs remind me of what would happen if real life pirates played punk rock."
