Terry rocks with three minute nuggets of good time rock and roll. American, roots rock, whatever you want to call it, it's pure and undiluted.

Terry honed his chops in bands like The Woods and The Fabulous Knobs. Dan Baird, of Georgia Satellites, was also a member of The Woods. He took one of Terry's compositions, "Battleship Chains" with him for the Satellites to put on their debut album as their second single. Terry also wrote "I Love You Period" that Dan used on his solo record, "Love Songs For the Hearing Impaired".

Terry spent time in Nashville as a songwriter. He didn't care for the mechanized version of crafting music, so dropped off that scene after a short stay and returned home to North Carolina where he continues to make his residence.
