Kubot met on their way to school in the late 90's and started a rockband. Later they moved away from the small town and started making music with synthesizers, glockenspiel, guitars, melodicas and computers. In year 2000 the Speakerphone Recordings label released their first 7" single "In Evropa" and later the fullength album "In Ellpen". Martin Gustafsson is now living in Göteborg, busy with his solo project Boy Omega. Martin Bergström is now living in Malmö working with the art duo New Beginings and his solo project Sin Närmiljö. The sound of Kubot has now grown from more playful minimalistic electronic tracks to a merged sound of acoustic and electronic sounds with live recordings and vocals. The influences are beautiful melodies, ambient sounds and all our friends that make such a great music. During the last years Kubot occasionally have been working with the second unreleased album.
