David W. Huff, the legendary singer/songwriter of David and the Giant’s fame, continues his musical journey with his second solo project, Proclaim, set to release May 5, 2004 on Christian Records, a Butterfly Group label. Known for prolific lyrics backed by soulful electro grooves, this gifted musician is known as the premier Southern Rock pioneer of Christian music.

Having released seventeen albums with David and the Giants, David W. Huff never dreamed of all the things God had in store for him. Even after the culmination of David and the Giants in 1998, David W. Huff continues to see God’s plan for his life unfold as he fulfills his charge from God.

Born in Pineville, Mississippi, David spent his life developing as a musician. Through his father’s musical influence and receiving his first guitar at age eleven, aspirations were in place for a career in music. After playing in a few local bands, David banded together with brothers Rayborn and Clayborn in his early twenties to form David and the Giants, and was pursuing his passion through music. God then started subtly moving in his life by allowing different situations to happen so that He could reposition David’s heart, and ultimately speak to him. From the early days of touring, through three car accidents, and a world that was out of control, David realized that all that glitters is not gold.
