Mindseed was founded by Felix (g.) and Martin (g., v.), who have already played together in another band. Having a more complex and advanced idea of music in mind than their former bandmates, they looked for a drummer and bassplayer to realize the project.
Finally they found Chris (b.) and Basti (d.) and practiced for the first time in April 2008.

In November 2008, guitarist and vocalist Martin left the Band.
In February 2009, Simon (v.) and Chris (g.) joined the Band.
