Like a lazy Sunday afternoon pondering where your life is heading Ross' songs mix dependability with the unease of intelligence. In a beautiful acoustic setting, Ross' voice is proud and strong-willed, his lyrics worldly-wise and almost world-weary. Relaxed in this knowledgeable purpose, his music gives comfort to the solitary in gentle tunes steeped in layers, much, I imagine, like himself. With much to think about and much to discover, awareness is displayed in his poetry that is not found on every singer/songwriter's manuscript.

At his most delectable in his purely romantic songs, his warm voice and concerned words would melt the heart of an ice-maiden. In every song, Ross proves that intelligence, sympathy and self-awareness is sensual and moving.
