Formed in late 2022 by the lead singer Anais Vacariu and drummer Isac Strand, Kings & Pills is a Berlin-based rock band consisting of members aged between 20 and 22, from Romania, Iceland, Sweden, Finland and Germany. The band gained attention with their debut EP "Chemical Meltdown" , which introduced the bands signature sound of catchy hooks, loud guitars and angsty vocals. Now with their newly released single “Bluff’ they are working towards releasing an album circling around a whole new concept melodically and visually. The lyrics and story has changed significantly since their debut EP, and have matured to a new point of view of the world. Kings and Pills likes to think of the narrator of their songs as a constant evolving character, stepping through themes of misogyny, abuse of power, destruction of the earth, consumerism and greed. The album introduces a variety of new styles and sounds, whilst still staying true to the rock'n'roll spirit.
