Lillian Bear is the stage-name for independent electronic musician, Brayden Kimbrough. Kimbrough was born in Ponchatoula, Louisiana and lived there until the age of 18 when he moved to Rome, Georgia. Kimbrough has been making and releasing music since 2019 and put out his debut Lillian Bear album on Christmas of 2020. His debut album, "Eternity and After" is an abstract concept album tackling death and the afterlife. "Summer on Mars," the sophomore LP under the Lillian Bear name, was released on August 27th, 2021. "Summer on Mars" features more sampling and a focus on "dancier" music. In late 2021, Kimbrough dropped the single "Neonelectronica." Three weeks later, "Winter with the Moonchild" was released. The third album under the Lillian Bear alias, "Winter With the Moonchild" is a complimentary album to "Summer on Mars," swapping out samples and dance grooves for more abstract, spacey instrumentals.
