The Nooses first kicked off in March 2011. Several of the members had already been playing in a band at their music school. The 2008 line-up is the current one.
The guys and gals in the band start to get it together and decide to find a definite band name and work on new songs, doing it with one simple aspect in mind: share the fun through music.

They take from Brit indie pop and are strongly influenced by The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club and Florence and The Machine.

Their first song is “Polvere” (Dust) that speaks about love; the bad ending of a love story that makes you suffer and have sleepless nites. A love story that leaves you stranded in the face of pain. It's a turn-the-page song to start over again and shake off the "dust" of a bad love story. This aspect of the song is strongly backed up by the tuff drum rhythm, 'suffering' vocals of Alessia and the distorted electric guitars, cool bassline and enveloping keyboards.
