Laila Samuels is the former lead singer of The Tuesdays. Since the band split up, she has concentrated on writing songs for other artists, and she has co-written more than 25 albums and has written several hits for Alejandro Fuentes, Maria Arredondo, Venke Knutson and the Hallelujah-live project in Norway. She is working on her first solo-album. and the first single, "Give It To Me Straight" was released spring 2009.
